Data Centre Programme Manager
On Site Grange Castle Dublin 22.
Daily Rate €520 per day- month initial Contract
As a successful Regional DC Program Manager, your performance objectives include:
- Create and maintain a program to identify best practices, design process and procedure documents, and socialize those across the Europe Region.
- Create lessons learned documentation, best practices, and innovations on existing process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity in post-RNI activities/
- Utilize your knowledge to train, equip, and empower local teams to build and maintain a network which will support their campus through its entire lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other Datacenter Operations Regions and global teams to align post-Ready for Network Install (RNI) processes and procedures globally.
- Create and manage end-to-end network project plans and ensure on time delivery.
- Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of data center activities.
- Establish and enhance strong working relationships with customers in the network space.
- Collaborate directly with site management and third-party vendors at new campuses and data centers to align best practices and deliver new locations quickly and reliably.
- Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end network project plans with stakeholders and teams.
- Perform day-to-day project check-in and update to manage project delivery and quality.
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution.
- Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers during project planning and execution
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ project management experience across large complex, cross-functional organizations
- At least 3 years’ experience in data center-related functions for large enterprise organizations.
- Must have prior experience in leading large projects end-to-end.
- Experience working with network technologies including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing, and Switching.
- Prior experience working at Data Centres
- At least 5 years’ project management experience across large complex, cross-functional organizations
- At least 5 years’ experience in data center-related functions for large enterprise organizations.
