A good knowledge of HACCP and the ability to work in a fast pace environment are essential for this position. You must speak fluent English, be eligible to work within the EU and have excellent Customer Care skills.The candidate must have 3 years, minimum experience in the preparation and presentation of quality dishes to the hotel standard. The ideal candidate must be hardworking & capable of producing quality dishes for service.
Staff accommodation available located within walking distance of the town centre and Clonakilty Park Hotel.
About the Role
You will work closely with our Executive Head and Sous Chefs to deliver exceptional dishes using the finest ingredients. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for food, creativity, and a desire to contribute to our reputation for quality and service.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety practices.
Ensure smooth operation of your section during service.
Support and guide junior members of the kitchen team.
Contribute to menu planning and quality control.
RequirementsMinimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar position.
Strong culinary and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
HACCP certification and knowledge of food safety standards.
