About the Role
We are a well-established and highly regarded dining destination, known for our high-quality dishes and strong steak trade. We are looking for an experienced and confident Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our passionate kitchen team.
This role is ideal for a skilled and motivated chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in steak preparation and cooking.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations & Culinary Excellence
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes across different sections
Steak expertise is essential – confidence in grilling and cooking steaks to perfection is a must
Ensure consistent food quality in line with kitchen guidelines
Work across multiple sections, maintaining efficiency and accuracy
Teamwork & Kitchen DisciplineWork closely with the Head Chef & Sous Chef to ensure smooth operations
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation
Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
Hygiene, Safety & ComplianceFollow HACCP regulations, food safety guidelines, and kitchen best practices
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchenEnsure proper maintenance and upkeep of kitchen equipment
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy, high-quality restaurant or hotel kitchenExperience with steaks is essential – strong knowledge of different cuts, temperatures, and grilling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent knife skills and solid knowledge of various cooking techniques
Team player with a positive attitude and passion for delivering outstanding food
Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations
Minimum 2 professional references required
