Job Description
We are a small, dynamic engineering company seeking a motivated and reliable Production Assistant to support our day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to build practical skills in engineering production, workshop processes, and quality standards.
You will work closely with experienced technicians and engineers, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to efficient and safe production workflows.
On job training activities will include:- Assisting the team in the production of agricultural products to meet clients' requirements
- Assisting with associated administrative tasks
- Assisting with the purchasing and stock management
- The participant will receive all training and will be supported by a mentor on the placement
- The participant will gain practical knowledge in a busy production environment
- The participant will learn how to work as part of a team with a good work ethic
Role Description
This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector-recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection.This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.
