Semi state body within the aviation industry is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join their team as part of a large-scale digital transformation.
DevSecOps engineer will bring deep technical expertise, a security- first mindset, and a passion for automation and operational excellence. Ideal DevSecOps Engineer will have the following knowledge, skills and experiences to deliver the required service:
Core Technical Skills- Microsoft Azure expertise in enterprise environments.
- Advanced Terraform proficiency for automated provisioning and lifecycle management of infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerisation, image management, and deployment
- within enterprise environments.
- CI/CD automation experience with GitHub Actions, including pipeline design, integration, and optimisation.
- JFrog Artifactory knowledge for artefact management and secure distribution.
- Security tooling experience with Snyk and SonarQube for vulnerability scanning and code quality assurance.
- Containerisation and orchestration skills with Kubernetes and Azure Container Apps.
- Monitoring and logging capabilities using DataDog Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Scripting and automation proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform is a plus
- Experience working with Jira for issue tracking, sprint management, and workflow integration.
- Strong communication and teamwork within cross-functional agile environments.
- Security-first mindset with understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure coding, and
- automated security testing.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator, Terraform Associate, CKA/CKAD, or DevSecOps Practitioner.
- Experience with additional cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of alternative CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and practices.
- Continuous learning orientation with awareness of emerging trends and security threats.
