Job Description
Regulatory Policy VP - Capital Markets Bank, Dublin- Develop and maintain regulatory policies in line with industry standards and local requirements: crucially - ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP, EBA/ ECB EU Stress Tests.
- Advise senior management on regulatory developments and their impact on business strategies.
- Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Prepare and present regulatory reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies and address inquiries or audits as required.
- Monitor changes in the regulatory landscape and assess their implications for the organisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed regulatory considerations into operational workflows.
- Provide training and updates to staff on regulatory policies and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
Regulatory Policy VP - Capital Markets Bank, DublinA successful Regulatory Policy VP should have:
- A strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field within a Capital Markets / major Bank business.
- Ideally Accounting or Risk Qualified.
- Proven expertise in regulatory compliance and policy development.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to monitoring and adapting to regulatory changes.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and professional environment in Dublin.
