YOUR NEW MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN JOB
As Maintenance Technician you’ll be responsible for supporting in all projects works ranging from installations, to upgrades, equipment electrical commissioning, connection works and plant modifications. You will also be involved in trouble shooting and continuous improvement initiatives
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and part of a seven person maintenance team you will work closely with the your colleagues in Ops, Quality, H&S & Engineering.
Day to day some of the key elements of your new maintenance electrician job will include- Provide ongoing day to day support to Production;
- Carry out planned/unplanned maintenance & calibration of equipment as required
- Maintain appropriate recording and reporting systems on all engineering related matters (e.g., breakdowns, maintenance etc.)
- Daily reporting of maintenance activities and making sure all paperwork is completed for traceability purposes
- Maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping to ensure area, machines and equipment are maintained in a safe and clean condition
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You will have a minimum of 3 years + relevant maintenance experience in production/manufacturing settings or equivalent and hold a relevant electrical trades qualification
You will have a right first-time mindset and be pro-active when issues arise with the ability to interact and work well with suppliers, customers, and external contractors.
WHAT IN IT FOR YOU
There is a very generous and competitive salary including 30% shift allowance for all hours worked & pension along with the opportunity to work in with a food producing company who are acknowledged as one of the Midlands top employers. This is a shift role and typically your shift pattern will consist of:
Week 1-Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs 7pm-7am and off until Friday of Week 2 (48 hrs)
Week 2-Fri, Sat, Sun 7am-7pm (35hrs)
Week 3 Mod & Tues 7am-7pm, off Wed & Thurs, Fri, Sat Sun 7pm-7am (60hrs)
Week 4, Off Mon & Tues, Wed & Thurs 7am-7pm Off Fri, Sat & Sun (24hrs)
So you only work 14 days in the month and so this pattern will potentially suit candidates with specific childcare needs, people who are pursuing further education etc
