Job Title: HR Operations Specialist
Location: Dublin (Hybrid after probation)

Contract: 18-Month Fixed Term

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our team on an 18-month contract. This role plays a key part in delivering efficient and compliant HR services, supporting managers and HR colleagues across a broad range of operational areas.

You’ll bring a proactive mindset, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day HR operations including absence management, resource changes, compensation and benefits.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across HR systems.

Act as a key point of contact for line managers, HR teams, and central functions.

Ensure all HR actions and documentation comply with internal policies and employment legislation.

Support quality assurance across processes such as contracts, payroll, and system updates.

Recommend and implement improvements to workflows, systems, and documentation.

Act as a subject matter expert and provide training where needed.

Provide ongoing support to the wider HR team and deputise for the team lead when required.

Contribute to HR projects, research and process improvements.

Key Requirements:

Prior HR experience with a strong understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.

Confident user of HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and influencing skills.

Self-motivated with a flexible and proactive approach.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable Attributes:

Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Comfortable taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.

Experience leading or mentoring team members.
