Jobs range from small residential repairs to larger commercial and civil contracts, so flexibility and a good work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist and/or carry out general construction tasks includingRoofing repairs and maintenance
Groundworks and drainage
Fencing, basic carpentry, and block/brickwork
Concrete prep, mixing, and pouring
Support tradespeople on-site or work independently on smaller jobs
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Complete basic reporting and job handovers through designated channels (e.g., job sheets, WhatsApp, email, or site apps)
Help maintain safe, tidy sites in line with health and safety regulations
Travel between sites as required (company transport will be provided)
What We’re Looking For:
4+ years’ experience in a general construction, maintenance, or trade assistant roleStrong all-round skills and practical mindset
Comfortable taking direction and also working on own initiative
Full, clean Irish driving license
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates preferable
Experience across both residential and light civil works is a plus
Ability to work as part of a team and take pride in a job well done
Desirable:
Any additional training tickets (e.g. abrasive wheels, working at heights)Previous experience on public or commercial worksites
Experience operating small plant or machinery (e.g. mini digger)
