Accounts Assistant

Our client, a leader in the construction industry based in South Dublin are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This role will suit a candidate who has previous experience in the construction sector, who will ensure Revenue compliance across all aspects of the business including RCT and VAT.

Permanent opportunity

Salary €45k

Main Responsibilities:

Accurately process supplier invoices and enter them into the accounting software

Reconcile supplier statements and promptly address any discrepancies

Stay informed about payment terms to optimise cash flow management

Track and manage outstanding invoices

Assist in compiling aged creditor reports for management review

Work collaboratively with the team to identify and implement process improvements

Liaise with the CFO and clients to address and resolve queries.

Requirements:

5+ years experience in a similar role, ideally in the construction sector

A degree or diploma in Accounting and Finance or similar

Proficiency in accounting software Sage / Bright Book or similar

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
