Osborne is currently partnering with a growing business in Dublin 2 to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
About the Accounts Assistant role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role involves managing both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions across multiple entities, supporting month-end processes, and contributing to the overall financial operations of the organisation.
For you:
Location: Dublin 2Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: €30,000 – €40,000 DOE
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
The Ideal Accounts Assistant
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar finance roleStrong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience using accounting software (Sage 50 preferred)
Responsibilities of the Accounts AssistantAccounts Payable
Process supplier invoices in line with purchase order policyLiaise with management to ensure timely invoice approvals
Manage supplier payments in accordance with company policy
Maintain accurate vendor records and perform reconciliation
Accounts Receivable
Manage assigned debtor accounts and issue regular statementsHandle customer queries and follow up on outstanding balances
Prepare customer aging reports for management review
Month-End & Reporting
Assist with preparation of month-end reconciliations and reportsComplete creditor reconciliations and support audit requirements
Contribute to the year-end close process and audit queries
