Driver (CE Licence) / General Operative – Road Resurfacing

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver with a CE Licence to join our road resurfacing team based in Roscommon. The successful candidate will operate company vehicles and also assist with general labouring duties on road construction and resurfacing projects throughout Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on outdoor work as part of a skilled, hardworking crew.

• Safe operation of articulated trucks and other heavy vehicles as required
• Transporting materials, machinery, and equipment to and from sites
• Assisting site teams with general labouring duties (e.g. laying asphalt, site preparation, manual handling)
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate delivery logs
• Ensuring compliance with all health & safety and road traffic regulations
• Supporting the team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification

• Valid CE Driver’s Licence
• Valid CPC card and Tachograph card
• Previous experience in road construction, surfacing, or similar work (preferred but not essential)
• Good understanding of site safety requirements
• Physically fit and willing to work outdoors
• Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work well in a team
