Technician in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering (Permanent Wholetime) (Reference 632a/2025)
The Technician will be responsible to the President, Director, Head of School, Assistant Head of School, and Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer for the administration and development of technical facilities within University, College/Directorate, School, Department, Function level.
S/He will be required to work closely with students, management, academic, technical and other staff.
Hours of Work: A 36.5-hour working week is in operation. This can be reviewed by collective agreement, with the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. Having regard to the nature of the work, attendance outside these hours may be required from time-to-time.
Location: TU Dublin, Blanchardstown
Salary:The Technician Salary Scale is:
- €39,696 - €55,987 (New Entrants)
Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale.
