We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a small, collaborative team based in Ennis. This role is ideal for an Accounting Technician or experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys working across a broad range of accounting and administrative duties.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, bookkeeping tasks, and client account preparation.

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
• Prepare and assist with VAT returns
• Assist in the preparation of accounts
• Handle administrative duties and phone calls
• Manage financial data and records using accounting software
• Work with accounting software
• Support general office and finance team activities

• Qualification or working towards Accounting Technician (or similar)
• Experience in bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Strong computer and Excel skills
• Good organisational and administrative abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a small office environment

• Previous experience with Accounting Software (Quickbooks, Xero, Brightbooks, SAGE)
• Experience in a similar assistant accountant or bookkeeping role
