Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Key Task SkillsTake care of the premises and contents
Carry out painting of walls, woodwork & window frames as necessary
Keep all doors, glass & windows etc. in a clean condition
Set out and transfer as required, class material, equipment and furniture.
Ensure all toys etc. used by children are in good condition and free from defects
Keep facility grounds in good order, maintenance of paths, parking areas and all access routes
Health and Safety/ Cleaning of FacilityKitchen management including hygiene control (HACCP Procedures)
Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met
Assist in the care and maintenance of equipment
Assist in the cleaning and maintain a healthy environment for the children in the kitchen and service area
Person SpecificationExperience of general maintenance
A focus on minimising waste and delivering value for money
Excellent English and organisational skills
Other DutiesAny other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
Attend appropriate training necessary for the job
Work in compliance with Childcare’s Safety Statement
