Shift Manager – Food Manufacturing
Location: West CorkHours: Shift-based
We’re seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with a blue chip multinational food manufacturing company. Based 35 minutes from Cork City the Shift Manager job is key to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while supporting the wider operations team.
What You’ll Do- Lead and support your shift team to meet daily production targets and KPIs.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene, GMP, and housekeeping.
- Oversee training, development, and performance of your team.
- Monitor production costs and help drive efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with Quality, Logistics, Technical, and Maintenance teams.
- Drive continuous improvement across quality, processes, and systems.
- Manage HR-related tasks, including performance reviews and system updates.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role within food manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and production processes.
- Experience with SAP/MES/SCADA (an advantage).
- Lead a skilled production team in a well-established manufacturing site.
