A leading supplier in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician to join its team at a Limerick-based production facility. This company has a strong presence in the market and is known for delivering high-quality products across Ireland.
The Role
As a Maintenance Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising production equipment, ensuring high standards of performance and safety. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will work as part of a skilled team supporting plant operations.
This role requires flexibility, as late shifts will be required for approximately four to five months of the year.
Key Responsibilities- Provide maintenance support to production operations.
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Carry out routine fabrication assignments as required.
- Conduct testing, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards on site.
- Qualified with a recognised national qualification or apprenticeship in electrical maintenance.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of conveyors, elevators, screening systems, PLCs, and programming.
- Experience with weighing systems.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
