A well - established SME business in North Cork is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team. The Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You'll play a key role in driving financial insights and helping the business operate efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and key financial reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, liaising with department heads.
- Manage VAT returns and ensure all tax obligations are met accurately and on time.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Provide analysis on business performance and cost trends.
- Assist in audit preparation and maintain strong internal financial controls.
About You:
- Qualified or qualified by experience (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator who can collaborate across departments.
- Proficient in financial systems and Excel.
