As the Sales Manager on the MyPOS account, your role is to build and lead the Field team, creating a culture of performance that ensures the Team meet their targets and drives profitability for CPM, while navigating the requirements of directing a team of self-employed sales agents.

You will also own the day to day client engagement and manage all core responsibilities of the account including recruitment, training and operations.

You will live the CPM DNA of We Care, We’re Curious and We Achieve together and will support your Team, the Client and wider CPM business by example through your passion and commitment for the role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set-up and launch the MyPOS field sales Team for CPM. This will involve recruiting the agents and collaborating with client and CPM stakeholders to arrange on-boarding, training, sales logistics and launch.
  • Manage and guide the team of self-employed agents. This may involve coaching, training, evolving the sales process. Gain buy-in from the team so they are fully on-board with what you are seeking to achieve • Develop a clear understanding of what contributes to consistent sales performance, and identify the root cause of any under-performance. From there, have a clear strategy to provide a continuous improvement approach to maximise performance.
  • Support the sales delivery through your own sales activity and working closely with the agents to ensure all sales opportunities are being followed through. • Analyse the sales data to identify trends that can be managed to improve overall sales performance and KPI delivery
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the Team to help them stay focused and motivated. Celebrate wins and provide constructive feedback when things don't go as planned. • Manage the day to day client relationship to ensure CPM are delivering on expectations of performance, quality & compliance, governance & reporting, and value-add.
  • Own the operations requirements to ensure the team runs smoothly as its own entity; payroll, asset management, training, reporting as required. • Support senior management with client reporting to provide insights from the field and help influence the client’s understanding of sales activity, challenges and opportunities
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as instructed by your Line Manager

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Two to five years’ experience leading successful field sales teams in the Business and/or utilities/finance sector
  • Experience providing coaching and development support to a field sales team
  • Strong IT Skills. Be comfortable working with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook, and preparing presentations on Word and PowerPoint Experience & Competencies:
  • Exceptional track record of leading high-performing sales teams
  • Confident communicator across all media types; able to motivate and influence others
  • Excellent time management to effectively balance the requirements of functional management processes with infield team support
  • Natural focus on results and creating a team culture and structure that delivers consistent levels of performance and success • Work on own initiative and continually look for ways to improve sales performance and processes
  • Positive mindset with a solution-based approach to challenges as they arise
  • Strong analysis and judgement skills to prioritise and focus energies where it will provide the best return for CPM and the client
  • Full driving licence • Experience creating and communicating KPI led sales plans
  • Awareness of the Irish business arena at local and national levels to maintain pipeline
