Overview

An established market‑leading company within the Irish construction supply industry is seeking a Customer Service Executive to join their team. This organisation distributes a wide range of high‑quality building products and prides itself on exceptional customer service, strong technical knowledge, and long‑standing partnerships with international manufacturers.

Responsibilities
  • Processing incoming purchase orders, quotation requests, and customer queries via phone and email.
  • Processing sales invoices.
  • Liaising with transport carriers to confirm delivery dates and updating customers accordingly.
  • Assisting customers at the trade counter.
  • Maintaining accurate records of quotations and orders.
  • Providing support to external sales staff as needed.
  • Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
  • Completing scanning and filing duties related to sales orders.
Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a customer service support role (ideal).
  • 1+ year of experience with SAP Business One (ideal).
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
  • Self‑motivated, confident, and capable of working on their own initiative.
  • A strong team player.
