Ireland’s premier investment promotion organisation has partnered up with Osborne to seek a motivated, experienced Property Solicitor to join their growing team based in Athlone on a permanent basis.
This fast-paced agency is heavily involved in the attraction of Foreign Direct Investment and helps to coordinate the successful integration of overseas organisations into Ireland. Your role on this in-house legal team would see you working on sales and acquisitions of commercial property and infrastructure to allow inward investment which creates further growth and employment opportunities in Ireland.
Salary: €51,500Hours: 9am to 5pm (Mon to Fri)
Annual Leave: 29 Days
Location: Athlone, Co. Westmeath
As a Solicitor in the legal arm of the property team, you would be involved in the purchase and sale of commercial sites and existing infrastructure to FDI companies seeking to grow or establish their presence in Ireland. This will include:
Managing the full cycle of a large caseload of property transactions to include sales (freehold/leasehold), leases, easements, licences.The provision of legal advice and support to the property team, guiding in transaction negotiations and the resolution of any property related debt.
Identifying and rectifying any title or mapping errors through the drafting of required deeds.
Assisting with audit requests and queries from the public and parliamentary bodies.
Instructing and managing external panel of solicitors to ensure property transactions are delivered on time and in accordance with the standards set by the organisation.
Horizon scanning for any legislative or regulatory updates, ensuring the wider team is kept informed of relevant alterations.
Advising on public procurement and property related insurance claims
What you Need to Succeed:
Qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland with at least 2 years’ PQEDemonstrable experience in conveyancing, ideally sales and acquisitions of commercial property and development sites.
Proven ability to grow solid working relationships with external solicitors and counsel and effectively manage transaction processes involving multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to work well under pressure, managing concurrent responsibilities to consistently meet deadlines.
A full driving licence is required for this role.
