Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our busy pub kitchen. This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, delivering consistent, high-quality pub food, and being part of a friendly, fast-paced team.
As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for running your own section during service, ensuring all dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented to a high standard. You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver a smooth and efficient service during busy lunch and evening periods, functions, and weekends.
Key responsibilities include preparing food in line with menu specifications, maintaining excellent cleanliness and organisation within your section, and ensuring all food safety and HACCP procedures are followed. You will also assist with stock control, rotation, and waste reduction, and help support and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a fast-paced professional kitchen
Experience and/or specialisation in International Cuisine
Passion for quality pub food and consistency
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy service environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods
Sector: accommodation and food service activities
