The Role

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead and support the maintenance function at a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role combining team supervision with day-to-day maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficient production.

You will ideally come from a production or manufacturing background with strong experience in mixers and liquid/powder packing machinery.

• Lead and enforce a strong Health & Safety culture within the maintenance team
• Manage start-ups, breakdowns, line stoppages, call-outs, and machine shutdowns for cleaning
• Ensure preventative maintenance (PMs) are completed on schedule
• Plan and prioritise both planned and reactive maintenance activities
• Develop proactive maintenance strategies to improve plant reliability
• Supervise, support, and coordinate the maintenance team
• Drive automation and semi-automation improvements where possible
• Carry out site inspections and identify maintenance risks or gaps

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior maintenance role
• Previous maintenance supervisor experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and fault-finding skills
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Own transport required (no public transport access)
