Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance function within a large, complex organisation. This role will partner closely with senior leadership across central functions, providing financial insight, governance, and decision support to enable effective strategic and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to senior leadership teams across central functions
  • Develop and embed effective financial processes and ways of working to support decision-making
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end cost reporting against budget, providing clear analysis and actionable insights
  • Lead forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi-year planning processes for both operating and capital expenditure
  • Proactively review, challenge, and validate financial plans, ensuring a deep understanding of underlying assumptions and key value drivers
  • Utilise enterprise planning tools to support accurate forecasting and budgeting across multiple business areas
  • Provide financial governance and risk oversight for designated corporate functions
  • Deliver high-quality financial decision support and contribute to the delivery of functional and enterprise-wide strategies
  • Support transformation and change initiatives through robust financial analysis
  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects as required
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • At least 1 - 2 years' experience in a commercial or financial business partnering role
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, interpretation, and planning
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to work to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
