A Community Employment (CE) Supervisor manages, mentors, and schedules participants in a Department of Social Protection-funded scheme, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and health/safety standards. Key responsibilities include designing individual training plans, conducting job search activities for participant progression, and overseeing project administration, including financial records and payroll.

Core Responsibilities & Duties
Participant Management: Supervise, train, mentor, and schedule 10+ participants.
Progression Planning: Develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for participants, assisting them in gaining skills for future employment.
Administration & Finance: Maintain detailed records, manage timesheets, and ensure compliance with CE Operating Procedures, including financial monitoring of grants and wages.
Health & Safety: Ensure a safe environment, adhering to health and safety legislation.
Reporting: Report to the sponsoring committee, CEO plus management team and liaise with the Department of Social Protection (DSP).
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience, often required.
Skills: Strong IT skills (MS Office), excellent communication, and empathy.
Vetting: Satisfactory Garda Vetting.
Working Conditions
Hours: 39 hours per week.
Salary: Based on the official DSP CE Supervisor Salary Scale with 20 participants
