Winsome Cash Limited is seeking an experienced Product Development & Supply Chain Specialist to support the development and launch of our private-label beauty, nail care, hair care and personal care product ranges. The successful candidate will manage product development projects, coordinate international suppliers and manufacturers, and support the commercialisation of new products.
Key Responsibilities
Research beauty, personal care and wellness market trends to identify new product opportunities and support product innovation.Coordinate the development of private-label nail care, hair care, body care and wellness products from concept through to commercial launch.
Source, evaluate and manage relationships with manufacturers, packaging suppliers and production partners to support product development and business growth.
Coordinate product sampling, packaging development, testing and production activities to ensure products meet quality, branding and commercial requirements.
Negotiate product specifications, packaging requirements, production timelines and supplier deliverables with manufacturing and packaging partners.
Maintain product specifications, supplier records, packaging documentation and project information throughout the product development process.
Monitor supplier performance, production schedules and project milestones to ensure timely delivery of products and packaging materials.
Support quality assurance, product compliance and packaging compliance activities in collaboration with suppliers and production partners.
Liaise with international suppliers and manufacturers regarding product development, packaging implementation and production planning requirements.
Collaborate with management on product launch planning, product portfolio expansion and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, Industrial Design or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years' experience in product development, supply chain coordination, sourcing, packaging development or manufacturing environments.
Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturers.
Strong project management, organisational and communication skills.
DesirableExperience within the beauty, cosmetics, personal care or consumer goods sectors.
Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers in Asia.
Mandarin Chinese language skills desirable to support communication with overseas suppliers and production partners.
