Join a respected healthcare facility in Limerick as a Catering Assistant. This rewarding role supports patient care by delivering nutritious meals in a clean and compassionate environment. Ideal for candidates with 6–12 months’ experience in healthcare or high-volume catering settings.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve meals and drinks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Deliver meals to wards and assist patients with food service when required.
Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning prep areas, equipment, and utensils.
Support kitchen team with meal prep and stock rotation.

Follow HACCP and infection control procedures at all times.

Requirements:

6–12 months’ experience in catering, ideally in a healthcare or similar fast-paced setting.
Understanding of food hygiene and HACCP compliance.
Right to Work in Ireland and successful Garda Vetting clearance.
Able to provide 5 years of work references.

A full driver’s licence is desirable for location accessibility.

Salary & Benefits:

€17.35/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
Daytime shifts between 7:00 am – 6:30 pm for better work-life balance.
