Caremark is a home care provider based is Cork City with 20 years. We care for elderly and disabled people in their own homes. We are currently recruiting for a full time home care assistant to care for clients in their own homes .

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Homecare care assistant you will be caring for elderly or disabled people in their own homes. Typically you will be calling to their home for 1 hour in the morning and 30 minutes to 1 hour in the evening. Realistically you could be calling to some 7 to 10 clients per week.

Whilst you will be based out of our Caremark offices in Tramore commercial park. The role involves traveling to multiple client locations within a 15km radius of our office.

This is a full time role. You will be working 39 hours per week. You will be working alternate weekends on rotation every second weekend.

Typical duties include helping clients with:

Personal Care, Showering, bathing, toileting
lifting in and out of bed (hoist)
Meal preparation
Companionship Care/Social Visits
Support to access community
Light household duties

Requirements

Full healthcare Award or Two modules completed which are Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
Personal experience in care
Drive and have access to a car.
Full availability to work weekends and alternate weekends.
