An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading team on a large infrastructure project in North Dublin. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality work during night operations to support ongoing development and maintenance works on the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate night shift works across multiple infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Liaise with contractors, design teams, and authorities to ensure project deliverables are met on schedule.
  • Monitor progress and report on technical performance, resource allocation, and potential project risks.
  • Review engineering drawings and specifications to verify accuracy and compliance prior to execution.
  • Support the project manager in preparing documentation, progress reports, and work permits.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency on all assigned works.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering roles, ideally within transport, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Flexible to work night shifts and adapt to dynamic site conditions.
