An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading team on a large infrastructure project in North Dublin. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality work during night operations to support ongoing development and maintenance works on the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate night shift works across multiple infrastructure projects.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Liaise with contractors, design teams, and authorities to ensure project deliverables are met on schedule.
- Monitor progress and report on technical performance, resource allocation, and potential project risks.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to verify accuracy and compliance prior to execution.
- Support the project manager in preparing documentation, progress reports, and work permits.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency on all assigned works.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering roles, ideally within transport, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Flexible to work night shifts and adapt to dynamic site conditions.
