Frenchpark & Districts Childcare are currently looking for a Cook. Applicants must qualify for the Community Services Programme.

We are seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team in the daily preparation and delivery of high quality, wholesome, nutritious meals and snacks for the children attending our centre.

Job details: Fixed-term contract
Salary: €14.00 per hour
Hours of Work: Part-time (18.5 hours per week). Day-time hours only.
Benefits: 22 days paid annual leave (pro-rata)

Essential Criteria: Some experience in a similar role

Ability to help deliver a 4-week menu cycle in line with School meals nutrition guidelines and allergen requirements
Ensure that the catering service is appropriately prepared for Pobal and Environmental Health inspections
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, including the ability to organise, plan, and prioritise tasks
Good communication skills
High level of spoken and written English
Requirements:

Help in the efficient co-ordination of the daily running of the Kitchen environment in line with Childcare Preschool Services Regulations, HACCP guidelines and Safe Catering policies and our Childcare Services policies and procedures.

Ensure adequate stock levels for smooth running of services

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
