WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Operations Management:

Oversee & manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely processing of incoming and outgoing deliveries
Monitor workflow and coordinate with Buying & merchandising teams to prioritise stock team activity to meet business service level agreements (SLAs)
Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs and loss.

Team Management:

Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff to maintain highest safety and operational standards
Ensure all staff foster a culture of passion, positivity, teamwork, love learning, Trust & Respect.
Conduct regular 121’s , performance reviews , coach and develop our staff

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, including handling and storage of our products
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting warehouse and Logistics operations
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective and preventative actions as necessary

Logistics and Coordination:

Coordinate with internal departments, such as Buying and Merchandising teams, and external logistics providers to ensure seamless operations
Manage the logistics of deliveries, including customs documentation and transportation providers
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners

Inventory Management:

Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimise shrinkage
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations
Track inventory and generate reports

Facility Management:

Ensure the warehouse facility is maintained in a clean, organised, and secure manner
Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.
