BCD Engineering Ltd - Pipe Fitters

BCD Engineering Ltd, a specialist in mechanical installations for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and food & beverage sectors, is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team in Charleville, Co. Cork.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from technical drawings, isometric and P&ID diagrams.

Measure, cut, bend, and install stainless steel tubing and piping to precise tolerances.

Use orbital and TIG welding techniques to join piping components.

Ensure installations meet high-purity and sanitary requirements, maintaining strict adherence to industry standards.

Conduct pressure tests and inspections to verify installation integrity.

Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to meet installation timelines and quality expectations.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in high purity pipe fitting, preferably in pharmaceutical or food-grade environments.

Proficient in TIG and orbital welding techniques.

Ability to work from engineering drawings and blueprints.

Strong knowledge of GMP standards and cleanroom practices is desirable.

A relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship certification is advantageous.
