Assistant Supermarket Manager - Co. Roscommon

The role will be varied, but the main duties include:

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service, ensuring a welcoming and harmonious atmosphere for customers, suppliers, and staff.
• Maintain store standards, including merchandising, housekeeping, Health & Safety compliance, and overall presentation.
• Oversee stock management processes, including ordering, stocktaking, and monitoring department performance to achieve budget and sales targets.
• Lead, communicate, and motivate staff and junior management, ensuring operating standards are understood and a positive working environment is maintained.
• Manage financial performance, including sales, gross profit, net profit, overheads, and wage control.
• Support continuous improvement through training, professional development, and assuming store manager responsibilities when required.
