About the Role

A leading provider of industrial solutions is looking for a Commercial Manager to oversee its commercial operations in Ireland and drive the company's local growth strategy. This senior leadership role is part of the management team and will play a pivotal role in setting and delivering the business's commercial direction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for customer project delivery, commercial planning, and stakeholder engagement, working closely with functions such as marketing, sales, operations, logistics, and procurement. Strong experience in managing complex supply agreements and ensuring profitability through sound commercial governance is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies that support business growth and market expansion.
  • Lead all commercial aspects of customer projects, ensuring profitability and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support sales initiatives through pricing, promotional activities, and client engagement.
  • Use KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and guide decision-making.
  • Oversee daily operations in collaboration with cross-functional teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Mentor and support department heads and team members, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Promote and contribute to health and safety standards across the organization.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5-8 years' experience in a senior commercial or operations leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing commercial agreements and operations in a cross-functional setting.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and delivering within tight deadlines.
  • Expertise in commercial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
