Audit Assistant Manager/ Audit Manager - Limerick or Dublin

My Client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the dynamic audit team in Dublin or Limerick. In this role, you will take ownership of planning, executing, and completing audits for a diverse range of clients, helping them meet their financial and regulatory obligations.

Working in a collaborative and supportive environment, you will be key to delivering high-quality audit services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit engagements from start to finish, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to track progress, address issues, and manage expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for additional value through insights and recommendations.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff.
  • Evaluate audit team performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare draft financial statements, audit reports, and completion memos, identifying areas for improvement or control weaknesses.
  • Ensure work is completed in line with internal policies and audit standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in auditing and accounts, ideally from a professional services background.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and projects concurrently.
  • Experience in supervising and delegating tasks to junior team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work on-site five days a week.
  • A valid driver's license is advantageous, though not required.
