Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Great training opportunity to become a qualified Childcare Practitioner. If you are interested in a career in childcare this programme is for you as we will provide the accredited training to help you to achieve a major QQI award at Level 5 or Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education.
No experience is necessary - just a genuine interest in pursuing a career in childcare.Working at The Redeemer Creche and Playgroup, Aishling Park, Dundalk, this placement requires you to work 19.5 hours per week and may be available for up to three years so that you may gain your qualification and develop your childcare skills, in all the required childcare components, through training and hands on practical experience working with experienced and qualified staff in a community creche/playgroup.
