We are currently recruiting for a bright Assistant Accountant/ Part Qualified Accountant to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Dublin 2.
Working within a collaborative finance team of five and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a broad and hands-on role that offers the successful candidate strong exposure across key areas of financial operations. The position will play an integral part in supporting month-end close activities, revenue processing, reconciliations, intercompany activities etc, providing excellent experience for a part-qualified accountant looking to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities & Exposures:
- Revenue processing from order input to invoicing in SAP
- Monthly revenue accruals posting and revenue reconciliation
- Accounts receivable reconciliation and monitoring of AR aging
- SAP postings for accruals, prepayments and asset transfers
- Balance sheet reconciliation support and P&L variance analysis
- Work with the team in the monthly and quarterly management accounts, which include coordination with internal and/or external stakeholders for financial reports
- Support in invoice processing and AP related activities
- VAT return preparation
- Cash flow and banking administration support
- Reconciliation of Intercompany balance sheet accounts
- Support in preparing forecast and budget inputs for the operating expenses
- Assist in external audit process
- Be flexible and provide support across Group Finance for all Ad-hoc tasks and project work when required.
- Identify any irregularities in the operations, systems or equipment and ensure that appropriate corrective measures are performed.
Person Specification & Qualifications:
- Part/Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), IATI is advantageous,
- Minimum of 2-4 years' accounting experience
- Knowledge of double entry accounting and supporting month end close
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change
- Inquisitive nature
- Ability to meet weekly and monthly deadlines
- Team player with excellent communication skills
