About the Role

We are seeking two temporary Higher Executive Officers (HEOs) to join a Standards and Quality Assurance (SQA) team within a leading public sector organisation. These positions are available for a minimum of three months to provide cover.

The SQA division is responsible for the regulation of approved centres through registration, inspection, monitoring, and enforcement processes. The team monitors findings to identify areas of good practice and address any non-compliances in line with relevant legislation and standards.

As part of the SQA team, the Regulatory Manager (HEO) will assist in compliance monitoring, risk assessment, data analysis, and report preparation to support regulatory decision-making.

About You

You will be a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in compliance, regulation, or quality assurance within a public sector or healthcare-related environment.

The ability to interpret legislation and manage multiple priorities in a structured manner is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Regulation, your duties will include:

Monitoring compliance with legislation, regulations, standards, codes of practice, improvement plans, and conditions.
Assisting with regulatory activities in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Risk assessing statutory notifications related to the quality and safety of services.
Coordinating the collection, review, and analysis of data.
Contributing to regulatory decisions based on compliance findings.
Producing written reports, presentations, and correspondence with service providers.
Supporting the delivery of defined business plan objectives.
Attending and contributing to relevant meetings.

Undertaking other duties as assigned by senior management.
