At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Delivery Driver with a valid C License to join our client’s growing team based near the Carlow/ Wicklow border. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Rigid Truck Delivery Driver to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.
What’s on Offer:
€17.50 per hour
7am to 3:30pm (40-45 hours)
Monday to Friday
Your new role includes:
Operating company rigid trucks safely and efficiently
Picking up the loaded truck and then offloading the goods upon reaching the site
Planning and following the most efficient routes for deliveries to meet deadlines.
Communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Maintaining delivery logs and paperwork accurately and submitting reports as required.
Experience you need:
Valid C License with a clean driving record is essential
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and furniture safely and efficiently.
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
