Rotational Site Manager

The Rotational Site Manager coverage across multiple active sites, supporting mobilisation and critical delivery phases. The role is designed to maintain programme continuity, safety compliance and construction momentum across the portfolio.
The Rotational Site Manager will provide flexible site-based support across multiple solar projects through different phases of the projects lifecycle and conducting pull-out tests, site assessments, and early-stage coordination to ensure readiness for construction mobilisation
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Provide site leadership across multiple projects on a rotating basis, ensure continuity during absences, support mobilisation and commissioning phases, and maintain HSEQ and programme controls.
- Maintain continuity of site operations, safety oversight, and reporting.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure progress is maintained.
Tender & Preconstruction Support:
- Conduct pull-out tests and ground condition assessments to inform foundation design and tender pricing.
- Support site walkovers, surveys, and early-stage logistics planning.
- Assist with temporary works design coordination and access route validation.
- Provide input into risk assessments, method statements, and construction sequencing.
Coordination & Reporting:
- Collaborate with engineering, commercial, and HSE teams to ensure site readiness.
- Document findings and provide feedback to preconstruction and tender teams.
- Support stakeholder engagement, including landowners, local authorities, and utility providers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site management (solar PV construction an advantage, but not essential), ideally across both utility-scale and C&I projects.
- Strong understanding of groundworks, civils, and early-stage site setup.
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- PSDP/PSCS awareness and HSE leadership experience.
- Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and full driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience conducting pull-out tests and interpreting geotechnical data.
