About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Field Sales Rep to support our client, a leading importer and distributor to restaurant and retail customers. In this role you will manage existing client accounts while driving new business opportunities.
This field-based role is focused on building and nurturing customer relationships, expanding service offerings, and contributing to overall sales growth. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and will work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and support.
What will I be doing day to day?- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing business accounts to achieve sales and retention targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Expand services and offerings within existing accounts by understanding customer needs and proposing solutions.
- Deliver presentations, proposals, and commercial documentation to support account growth. Provide regular updates on account performance, pipeline development, competitor activity, and promotional initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records, call cycles, and sales reporting to track progress and performance.
- Handle client queries and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Coordinate order processing and ensure on-time delivery of products and services.
- Participate in relevant training to stay up to date with product offerings and industry developments.
- 2+ years of B2B sales or account management experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Full clean driving licence.
This role is a permanent, full-time role, based in Leinster, travel across the region to visit client sites will be required, offering a very completive salary plus an exciting benefits package including (but not limited to) performance bonus, company vehicle, pension, healthcare, staff discounts.
