This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
The Reception and Administration Assistant (CE ) will support the day-to-day administrative and front-of-house functions of the organisation. This is a developmental role designed to provide practical office experience, improve administrative skills, and enhance employability.
The participant will work under the supervision of the CE Supervisor and/or designated line manager.Key Duties and Responsibilities
Reception Duties
Greeting visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Answering and directing telephone calls
Taking and relaying messages accurately
Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
Administrative Support
Filing, scanning, photocopying, and document management
Data entry and maintaining records (in compliance with GDPR)
Assisting with scheduling meetings and appointments
Preparing basic correspondence, emails, and reports
Supporting staff with general office tasks
IT & Digital Tasks
Using email and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Updating basic databases or spreadsheets
Assisting with social media posts or website updates (if required)
Training and Development Opportunities
Participants may receive training in: Office administration skills
Customer serviceData protection and GDPR awareness
Digital skills (Microsoft Office, email management, online systems)
Telephone and communication skills
Manual Handling and other relevant CE training
Accredited training may be provided subject to CE scheme approval.
