Key Responsibilities Performance Monitoring and Analysis Track and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial performance across multiple restaurant locations. Monitor key KPIs such as sales, labour utilisation, service times, drive-thru performance, and profitability.
Translate raw data into meaningful insights that support operational improvements. Reporting and Dashboard Development Develop, automate, and maintain performance reports and dashboards using Excel and business intelligence tools (Power BI/Tableau).
Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and accessible for both management and restaurant teams. Forecasting and Budgeting Support the budgeting and forecasting process by integrating historical trends, seasonality, staffing requirements, and promotional activities.
Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize resource allocation and financial planning. Operational Partnering Work closely with Restaurant Managers and Shift Leaders to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities. Use operational experience to contextualise data findings and recommend practical, effective solutions.
Cost and Efficiency Management Analyse labour costs, food waste, utilities, and other controllable expenses. Provide actionable strategies to improve efficiency without compromising service standards.. Marketing and Sales Insights Evaluate the performance of local and national marketing campaigns, menu launches, and promotions.
Provide insights on customer behaviour, product mix, and sales drivers. Tools and Process Improvement Improve internal reporting processes and data collection methods. Implement dashboards and reporting systems that provide realtime performance visibility.
Leadership and Communication Act as the link between the franchise leadership and restaurant teams. Clearly communicate analytical findings and recommendations in a way that is actionable for both senior management and on-the-ground staff. Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organisation.
Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or related discipline. Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables), SQL, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to balance strategic analysis with operational realities.
