Application Details

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Job Description

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Morning and evening collect and drop off Core Members to and from L'arche workshop.
Supervise and assist Core Members during their journey.
Clean and sanitize the mini bus before and after each run
Be aware of individual needs of Core Members
Ensure that Core Members are met off the bus by a responsible person at set down.
Communicate effectively with driver
Report any concerns to management.
Promote a positive and dignified awareness of Core Members
Ensure all accidents/incidents are reported and documented
Maintain strictest confidentiality at all times
