Alderoak Limited is seeking a dependable and experienced Skilled Laborer to join our growing construction team. We work across residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality craftsmanship and reliable service throughout every phase of the build.

Role Overview:

As a Skilled Laborer at Alderoak Limited, you’ll play a vital role supporting various trades and site operations. This is a hands-on, physically active role ideal for someone with broad site experience and a strong work ethic. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with roofing and slating work, including stripping, prepping, and fitting

Supporting groundworks such as excavation, drainage, trenching, and leveling

Mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete, including foundations, paths, and slabs

General site duties such as demolition, material handling, and cleanup

Working closely with carpenters, roofers, and tilers to support trade work

Ensuring site safety, cleanliness, and organisation at all times

Operating small tools and machinery where required (training provided if needed)

You’ll be working on a variety of sites and must be adaptable, efficient, and safety-aware. A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to get stuck in are key.

Full driving license and own transport preferred

CSCS or Safe Pass (or willingness to obtain)
