  • Support young people to attend school, training, medical, and clinical appointments.
  • Organise and manage personal documents, information, and finances on behalf of young people as needed.
  • Liaise with families, social workers, statutory bodies, and other relevant agencies.
  • Participate in and contribute to case meetings and reviews regarding each young person’s development.
  • Engage in age-appropriate activities and therapeutic play to build trust and connection.
  • Provide regular written and verbal progress reports to the Social Care Manager.
What You Will Need
  • A CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and evidence of application for CORU registration.
  • A full, clean driving licence.
  • Experience supporting marginalised individuals, ideally adolescents with complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of issues affecting young people, such as trauma, attachment, and substance use.
  • The ability to support and manage young people in crisis using trauma-informed and best-practice approaches.
  • Working knowledge of national standards for children’s residential services.
  • Valid working rights for Ireland, and strong English language skills.
