Carpenter/ Working Foreman

FULL TIME POSITION

Hourly rate PAYE-weekly, depending on experience.

We are looking for a Working Foreman/ 'Right Hand Man' with Carpentry background for high-end, fast paced fit-out projects, however, candidate must be prepared to do/supervise all aspects of construction.

ie. demolition, to stud work and slabbing, wall and floor tilling, carpentry, tape/jointing, maintenance work

A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role is required.

A carpentry background is essential.

Must be able to:

Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel

Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors

Keep daily records of all staff on site, subcontractors and materials

Provide adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs

Emphasise safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures

Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
