Social Care Leader - Separated Children (SCSIP) New

CPL Healthcare is recruiting a dedicated and experienced Social Care Leader to join a service supporting Separated Children Seeking International Protection (SCIP) in Piltown, Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role and make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people by providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of Social Care Workers in the delivery of care.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children in care.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the team and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Promote the rights, wellbeing, and development of children at all times.
- Support staff development and training to ensure high standards of care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a social care or children’s residential setting.
- Full Manual Driving Licence (essential).
- Eligible to register with CORU.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Salary:
€42,432 – €46,176 per year, depending on experience.
