Morgan McKinley has partnered with a large Cork based Accounting practice in the recruitment of an Accounting Manager to join the growing team.

The successful candidate will lead a close-knit team that work with a diverse portfolio of clients providing a full complement of services. This position is ideal for an experienced Manager that enjoys a client facing role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients.
• Preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures.
• Leading and conducting audits across a broad client base, in line with auditing standards and best practices.
• Preparing corporate and personal tax returns.
• Investigating issues identified during engagements and proposing effective solutions.
• Developing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Delivering high-quality work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
• Reviewing team members work, providing training and guidance.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant with experience in an Irish accounting practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently.
• A proactive, self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in management or team lead position.
• Experience with Xero, Bright AP and Bright Books an advantage.
