Key Responsibilities
General Repairs: Fixing, adjusting, and repairing fixtures, doors, hinges, handles, and furniture.Property Maintenance: Painting, decorating, and repairing flooring and walls.
Basic Trade Tasks: Handling light plumbing (leaky taps, sinks) and electrical tasks (changing light bulbs, checking sockets).
Exterior Upkeep: Cleaning gutters, power washing, sweeping, and general cleaning of external areas.
Grounds Maintenance: Lawn care, tree management, and general gardening.
System Checks: Monitoring boilers, central heating, and security systems.
Contractor Management: Supervising external contractors or technicians performing specialized work.
Requirements and Skills
Experience: Proven, multi-skilled handyman or general maintenance experience.Tools: Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Skills: Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
License: Full clean driving license is often required.
